With less than a week to go to the residential trip it is probably time to do a quick kit check! Make sure that you check the entire kit list and get together all the essential gear! I promise it will be cold, so pack warm!
REMINDER OF DROPPING OFF/PICKING UP TIMES
Dropping Off
Please drop your children off at the normal school time on Monday 1st November. The coach will be leaving at 10:15am prompt. Parents are more than welcome to wave off their little angels!
Picking Up
We are aiming to leave Fairthorne at approximately 1:15pm on Friday 5th November and should be back to school by no later than 2pm. Please can parents ensure they are at school to pick up their children by 2pm.
If you have any last minute questions or queries, please add a comment to the blog and I will periodically check it this week. Otherwise, see me first thing on Monday morning!

Kit List
This is a list of all the necessary kit that your child needs to take for the Fairthorne Manor trip. Please remember that it can be cold at night, we may have some rain! So jumpers and waterproof clothing are essential. Here's the list.
- Sleeping bag, pillow slip for all accommodation types
- T-shirts
- Several sweatshirts/pullover
- Shorts and jeans or tracksuit
- Spare underclothes/Socks
- Trainers (2 pairs) one of which is suitable to get wet/dirty
- Slippers (indoor accommodation)
- Waterproof clothing/coat/trousers
- Water bottle (cups are no longer provided in the accommodation)
- Wellies, if you have them
- Hat to protect against sun and cold
- A torch may be useful
- High protection sun cream/block
- You will also require plenty of comfortable clothing that can get dirty.
- Smart casual clothes may be useful for the evenings.
- Two towels, soap, shower caps and toilet kit
- Pyjamas
- A black bin bag to put dirty clothes in
- Roll-on sprays only

Welcome to the Highfield At Fairthorne 2010 blog! I'm Zac a year 6 pupil. This blog is intended to keep everyone up to date when we go on our Fairthorne Manor trip. We hope to update this blog every evening! You will be able to see what we get up to, also there will be some pictures!
